TNR Services

Fancy Feline TNR helps local communities humanely and effectively manage outdoor and feral cat populations. We do this using the Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) approach which involves humanely trapping cats, spaying or neutering them, vaccinating them, and then returning them to their natural environment. By doing so, cats can enjoy healthier lives without contributing to the overpopulation problem. Fancy Feline TNR proudly offers these services across Stark, Carroll, Columbiana, and neighboring counties.

What We Do

We collaborate with caregivers, residents, property owners, and community partners to:
  • Assess cat colonies and develop a TNR plan
  • Humanely trap community cats
  • Coordinate spay/neuter and basic vaccinations
  • Return cats to their outdoor environment
  • Provide guidance on colony management and care
Our mission emphasizes prevention to avert suffering before it begins

What We Don’t Do

It’s important to note that Fancy Feline TNR is not a rescue organization.

Unfortunately, we are not able to assist with:
  • Emergency intake
  • Immediate removal of cats
  • Long-term fostering
  • Pet surrender
However, for friendly or adoptable cats, we may partner with rescue organizations when possible.
Who can request TNR help?
TNR assistance is available for:
  • Areas with outdoor or feral cat colonies
  • Locations experiencing repeated kitten births
  • Situations where cats are unaltered and reproducing
  • Individuals willing to comply with trapping and care guidelines
  • TNR is a collaborative effort, and cooperation from caregivers or property owners is vital
Cost of TNR Services
The cost for TNR service is $52 per cat, covering:
  • Spay or neuter surgery
  • Ear tip (a universal sign of an altered community cat)
  • Rabies vaccine
  • FVRCP vaccine
  • Revolution flea treatment

This fee is funded entirely through donations and community support, with every contribution directly supporting life-saving TNR services and preventing future litters.
